i never heard or saw a studio apt in the projects i wonder if only certain areas have them or complex, etc.

And perhaps most new jobs weren't DOWNWARDLY mobile.

^, no my building was co op and i rented, it was not under RS or RC.
Im just very good at managing money and found another job.

I don't think it makes a difference. I know of people who used to work at Wall Street and who lived at rent stabilized apartments, and once they were laid off, lost their rent stabilized apartments and became homeless. Just because an apartment is rent stabilized does not mean the landlord won't expect a payment.

But typically the RS or RC apartments have had much lower rents that might be manageable with an unemployment check or two, at least long enough to realistically find another job before ending up on the street.
Paying $3000 market rent on a stream of unemployment checks is not tenable for very long.

I have an Soon to be 18yr old son , Daughter that will be 12yrs & son almost 3yrs will I be able to get a 3bed room I currently have 2bedroom apt .
