Does anyone live in the corner facing the fire house? If so any insight on the noise/lights?
I face 6th with a clear sight line to the fire station. There’s really no way to avoid the noise it sometimes creates but if they’ve ever gone out during the wee hours of the night while I’m asleep, I certainly haven’t noticed. If you spend most of your day in your unit, you’re likely to hear them blaring the siren, but they’re in such a hurry, it won’t last more than a few seconds.
My son and I will be moving to the building in May.. he doesn't start Pre-K until September. Does anyone know of local child care options accepting kids for the summer?
Thanks!
We will likely be moving in July. What kind of childcare are you looking for? There are a bunch of daycares in the area but many of them are booked or have waiting lists. We are in the process of looking into signing up my son for a daycare. He's 27 months. We may need to supplement daycare with a shared nanny to fill in the gaps for now.

I think we're going to do camp for July and August. May and June might include going out to grandma's and finding a babysitter.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm struggling to decide which unit to take.. that corner or the direct opposite where I know the next building will go up.
I’m facing 6th and I do worry about the building(s) going up, but they told me that the one one the corner shouldn’t go that high, the building next to it is a different story. Will almost certainly lise my view of the park but hopefully, I’m still getting good light.

Do you have a 1 bedroom? My bill was double that and i dont think i use the heater that much
Hi All - Congrats to all the new tenants! Have any tenants been provided 1 or 2 months free rent for signing a new lease with 38 6th avenue? This is urgent. Please kindly let me know. Thank you in advance!!!
