530 Exterior Street is a new apartment development By Monadnock Development currently under construction at 530 Exterior Street, Bronx County. The development is scheduled for completion in 2018. The development has a total of 157 units.

I have not seen this on NY housing connect. I wonder why?

The lottery just closed so instead of creating another thread, I'll just piggy back off of this one.

Article: Revealed: 530 Exterior Street and 491 Gerard Avenue, Mott Haven | New York YIMBY

Amenities: comprehensive security system, stainless steel kitchen appliances, granite kitchen countertops and backsplashes, LVP flooring, recreation room, fitness center, laundry room, bike storage, outdoor recreation space, and parking lot* (*additional fees apply)

This was a 60% AMI exclusive.

Bronx Terminal Market being steps away, and fairly large apartments with the higher floors having a great view of the Harlem River. Fitness center in the building is also a huge plus.

I live in the Community Board so I'll be one of the 1st to be called; will keep you guys posted.
Log numbers should be coming up by next week.

Did anyone apply to this one?

There is a limit, 50%. lol
Besides, that response was a joke. I wrote why I wanted to move on your other thread.

Realistic reason:
"I personally am waiting for 530 Exterior because apartment sizes are huge; averaging 900+ SQFT which would be nice, building amenities are perfect, and the proximity to the 2,4 and 5 train + steps away from Bronx Terminal Market is great. Looks like the "waterfront views" are only guaranteed for floors 4 and above for that one, though. Haha."

My current building is okay, but the management needs A LOT of work, and the building across the street can get a bit noisy. It's not the end of the world.

Also not having to walk by those damn crackheads would be nice. They don't specifically bother me, but they sometimes get in the way when I'm trying to get to the damn train station!

If I were to move my current apartment would be freed up to a person on the waiting list, so it's no loss to anyone.

530 Exterior is managed by Wavecrest Management which is one of the worst management companies in the city. If you think your current buildings management isn't up to par, you'll be going from bad to worse
