Isn’t that area getting gentrified, anyway? I haven’t been there recently, so asking. Every time I talk to a hipster - if they don’t live in Brooklyn they live in Harlem.

Anyway, I’d take it. Some of those apartments look like they have nice views- plus they’re made out of solid concrete. If crime really bothers you just apply for a pistol or shotgun permit - to help you sleep better at night. As for going out late - just don’t do anything stupid like take out cash from the ATM at 3:00am.

Then again, this is the same advice I’d give if one were living in the villiage or Chelsea

I'm thinking of taking it too.
I'm in before final process with them.
I'm not that dumb lol I don't even keep cash on me. But I need to see the neighborhood first.

Just finished reading the reviews on Yelp. Just be careful with the bedbug epidemic that happened a few years earlier. Just giving you the heads up.

Yeah that's my issue with the place.

Well, Riverton is composed of many buildings - I'm sure not all of them had that problem. Try to find out which building had it before you sign a lease. Personally the rest of the complaints wouldn't bother me as much.

I hope to God it's a new one. Not the ones that everyone is btching about.

I won't sign anything until I see everything and expect everything. This building will be 1300 a month. Not cheap but not too expensive compare to regular price which is 1700+
