It was actually big that was my favorite part and it had a big closet in the bedroom area too that was a plus. I just didn’t like the bathroom tub it was too small and they didn’t use the latest faucets for the bathroom and kitchen those two areas seemed very rushed. I was disappointed with that because I’ve seen pics of these other apartments with top of the line bath n kitchen designs. It just wasn’t worth the $865 to me.

How long after the 5 day notice were you called to look at the apartment? We’re you able to push for a 1 bedroom?

I went went on my first interview in January and never heard anything I been emailing them and they kept saying my application was in process. I actually called them in June they said I had to resubmit my applications because it was past the 120 days. I had my interview June 14th and was called on June 20th saying my application was sent to HPD for approval and I can go see the apartment I was assigned. I went in the next day saw the apartment and two weeks after I got a call saying I was approved by HPD she wanted to sign my lease this coming August 1st but I declined the apartment.

I moved in this past April. My initial interview was January 2018 I was place on waiting list August 3018. I was contacted in November to send in documents. Management contacted HPD in November as well. In February I found out I was approved. Signed lease in March for April and moved in April 10 to be exact. Everybody's timing differs. The only thing you can be sure of is if you haven't heard any feedback within 120 days... Then your sure to get another 5 day notice. Good luck to all who applied and are still waiting.

@Jdivah, do you know if adding someone to the lease is possible or it’s not necessary? Is the building management strict with counting who actually lives in the apartment?

I'm not quite sure. I'm sure it's possible.

I lived in that neighborhood up until a few years ago. Thats a great deal for the area even if you don't love the fixtures. My studio I lived in, which was old and pre-war is now almost $1500 a month.
