Hello. Don't mind me asking, but did anyone have a situation when the affordable housing lottery for a building says "Tenant selection in progress" for a while, but no log-in posted next his/her application? As I understand, everyone who applies for a certain lottery gets a log-in number, but I haven't yet... Thank you.

They are still processing the applications and giving everyone numbers. You will get one when they get to you.

It usually means they are in the process of selecting tenants.

How long has it been like that, there is usually a lag of up to a week (although I saw a two week lag once) from "Tenant selection in progress" to the number appearing.

How long does it take it take after you have been asked to submit your documents once your log number had been reached? I've been waiting well over 3 weeks now and have not heard back from anyone? Is no news good news or did they just not get to my documents yet?

Because the marketing agency (the company that processes docs) is allowed to call more applicants than the number of units available they might not yet get to your docs, meaning they will if the applicants before you are not qualified or reject. Having said that, they still call applicants in the order of their logs. Example: there are only 5 units available, they call 10 applicants with log #s 1-10, your log might be 8. So your chances are better than log #20, but still not 100%.
