They are currently working with the first 10 applicants of the 2019 list and pets are allowed.

I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped by 10 Clinton to see the list, which was posted 2/16/21. My name moved up four spots from my log number. Has anyone gotten any updates, or been contacted?

Dear Zach1234,
Are you referring to the 2019 1 bedroom lottery or an earlier or other lottery? Are you a Veteran? Only updates I know is what is online already at ML Connnect. Although, if persons on the waitlist withdrew that would not be shown online. This could result in your name moving up the waitlist, I suppose.

Thanks for your post.

I was referring to the 2019 1 bedroom lottery. I’m not a veteran. They post a list of all the names of the people on the waitlist, and when I counted, my place in line was lower than my log number, meaning they must have moved through the old list and veterans. That list was updated back in February.

I just called and the woman said the reason 572 is listed as the number on NYC Connect is because that’s the last number of the old list, and they haven’t started the new list since there haven’t been any availabilities yet. She said my number moved up since people didn’t return their applications.

I was contacted back in early January. The apartment (around 500sq feet) I toured needed A LOT of updates, the person never renovated it since the '70s. The floors, the whole kitchen, and the whole bathroom need a complete facelift. The maintenance is around $760 and is expected to go up. The building needs renovation from the lobby to the hallways so there will definitely be a maintenance increase coming soon. They are currently moving really slow, 1 apartment to the external waitlist since January and nothing since. It is probably because they offer vacant apartments to the internal waitlist first so the nice renovated ones are snapped up.

Wow, thanks for the update! I'm on the list too, but pretty far back. It's a shame the unit needs so much work, but considering the buy-in price is pretty low, it's probably worth putting the money into renovations if you're planning to be there a while. What did you decide to do?

Also, was it the larger one-bedroom or the smaller one?

It seems to me that even if the maintenance goes up by a modest amount, it's still pretty low considering that the lobbies are attended.

Dear Peachesncream1,
Thanks for your post. I assume you are talking about a 1 bedroom. Are you the 2019 lottery or an earlier one? Are you a veteran or some group that would put you ahead of others in the lottery. Best wishes with all of this, Cadman and other buildings.
