How did you do your profit/loss statement? Does ABEFCU also require bank statements? Want to get all my ducks in a row.
Thanks so much for the info about debt-to-income ratio at ABEFCU. I have a loan in process with them right now and I was worried because mine was 33%. WHEW!!

We know from current residents that people are moving in. The wait list isn't updated in real time, so you can't go by that.

I would not expect to be contacted right away, there are still people on the 2014 list.
For example the studio list still has 85 people from 2014, which doesn't include the 14 people from 2014 that are on hold.
Penn South isn't a fast process. It's an amazing opportunity, but takes some patience. Hold tight they will get to you eventually!

Default What I viewed

For us curious waitlisters can you tell us what the 19 apartments were like? Was there a great variance in floor numbers? Were some higher up, lower down, etc.? Are the buildings clean? Grounds well-kept? Are some apartments with newer finishings (due to people who upgraded while living there)? Were some of them in original state (in my ML my brother's apartment is in original state! It's cool), etc.

We want to know everything lol
I visited about 5 buildings? Different layouts, all perfectly painted and floors done. Some have newer floors some the parquet. Some kitchens have floors. Some bathrooms were new. I viewed apts that were on floor one, 7, 11 and 18. Two had a balcony but I don’t like 8th Avenue. One had a fantastic view but I didn’t choose it. It was hard to choose but I went with a three and half room Apt A.

Cara, congrats! And thanks for such great info.

Of the apartments you went to see, how many were you given to actually choose from?

I think I had 12 to choose from, my favorite 3 on West 28th Street we’re gone. One had a great balcony. Still happy!

The apt you viewed on floor one, is that the same as ground level?

There aren’t ground floor apartments. The actual ground floor is the lobby and the apartments on the first floor are technically on the second floor. European style I suppose.
