Hi,

I was emailed dec 26 regarding being selected for an apartment for 491 Gerard Avenue. I was asked to complete the rental application and email/fax to the management company. I’ve emailed them within 4 days and haven’t received a response back from the person handling the rental application. I’ve tried calling the management company and have been transferred to non-answering extensions. I’ve left messages and still no callback. Has anyone experienced this before?
What should I do? There was no interview date just a rental application.

Lots of people are off between Christmas and New Year’s and take the additional two days off to fill out the week. Try again on Monday.

That sounds odd. I haven’t heard of being contacted to fill out the application. Good luck to you

Thanks for replies. I will try back Monday (fingers crossed). It was odd because I got the email stating I was eligible for an apartment. So I had to complete a rental application which included request for tax information, employment verification.. etc. I completed and submitted.

They usually request copies of that information when you attend an interview. Did they send you a paper application or a link to fill out an application online? Who is the property management company? What kind of of email address did the email come from?
