This can be a very long and stressful process, and part of the problem is that every person’s case is different.

I’m not saying this to be negative. Just try not to stress out and keep positive. Hand in whatever documents they ask you for, and be prepared to wait.

If you want to find out how income is calculated, download this PDF and go to section 5-4.

The more you know, the better! Good luck!

This can be a stressful time. Sometimes it can take a few months in my case my 1st interview was March 2019 and I was asked to update my documents Dec 2019, after an appeal I'm just signing my lease tomorrow. So almost a year and 20lbs of stress eating later i'm almost moved in. Everyone is different but i'd suggest drop off your paperwork, put it in the back of your mind and check in with your specialist every 3-4 weeks unless you have a low log number and they will get to you soon. In fact you can probably ask what they think is the time frame for them to get to your application.
