Can anyone tell me What should I be prepared for here on Roosevelt’s island, tell me how’s living over here?
Thank y’all. They only showed me one one bedroom I was wondering is every layout the same for the one bedroom? Do anyone have pictures also is there an roof top deck as I was reading?
You probably still live in NYCHA that is probably why you are responding like this. Did it ever cross your mind that these higher income families or individuals may have come from NYCHA and grew up in poverty themselves? Maybe they worked hard so their future children would never have to experience what they did. Maybe they worked so hard so they wouldn't have worry about shoot-outs, robbery or having a group of people hanging in front building smoking weed and drinking, blasting music until 4am.
Omg congratulations!!!! We should be signing our lease august 1 can’t wait

Really omg and that’s the floor I’m moving on too. They showed me a one bedroom on the 12 floor as well. How is the overall living on the island I’m a Harlem kid at heart. Taking long walks to the city, I love being able to leave my building and see lots of people around. Also how’s the commute to the island driving, train?
I lived in Harlem too! I love it so far the amenities make it worth it! And the train is great I just take the F the island is very beautiful and everyone is quite nice.
