That’s the order in which you were selected in the lottery. (You got a great number, btw!) The building management will mail applications to everyone selected. People who return completed applications will be put on the waiting list in the order they were selected. Good luck, Pink Snake!
Thank you for sharing this information. For those who return the completed application on time and they're put on the waiting list in the order they were selected (in the 400s), is there any idea how long the waiting list will be? Months? Years?

I'm wondering the same thing. My log # is in the low teens.
Thanks for sharing the process. The way the notice worded it, stating that "there are 250 1-bedroom apartments available and 500 2-bedroom apartments available," it made me think that they were actually vacant.
My Log Number from the recent one bedroom lottery was in the teens. But, the website says they are up to #541 on the waiting list. So, how does this work?
They are most likely nearing the end of their current (pre-lottery) list. And then when it resets to zero, it should be quick for you all things considered.
You could call and see how many numbers the original list goes up to (e.g. 600, 700, etc.).
