Aren't they supposed to find the yearly maximum, through all those different methods from marketing handbook. whether through projected pay stubs or last year's 1099?
I have no idea how to calculate unemployment when we receive additional stilumusl packages, like 600 dollars and now 300 dollars. If I take my set regular unemployment weekly benefit and calculate to 52 weeks do I have to add 300 that we are receiving right now and calculate it on 52 too ? The page says on housing connect, count annual income as if you are receiving it for the whole year, even though the money might be coming for 3 months only, count as if it is not ending in 3 months ? Does anyone have the same experience ? I am also applying for 1 household member studio, but because of this additional 300 that we are receiving until march 14th I am in the category for 2 member household. Can anyone tell if they will disqualify me simply because of that?
They will calculate using your last years tax returns / 1099 from 2020 and the last 6 weeks unemployment and calculate it as if you will get it for a year.

What do you mean by this? I just submitted documents for a rerental apartment that has opened up and received an extremely low log number without any preference. I did not have a 2020 1099 available and submitted all my info from my 2019 tax return, including 2019 1099 and also collect unemployment. How exactly would they calculate the 3? Are you implying they would add all three of the numbers and average it?

They are going to use your unemployment benefit to calculate your income not including the extra money I just went thru the process and only my unemployment was calculated
The extra payments of $600 and $300 are not counted.
Is this still true? I contacted the NYC Housing Instagram to ask about whether or not this extra $300 FPUC payment is counted as income and they said all unemployment is counted as income. I wish there was once clear in your face answer. I don’t want them to think I’m hiding money by not calculating it in my household income, but I also don’t want to add it if they aren’t going to calculate it and miss out of apartments with less rent in my correct bracket.
