How many people who won a housing connect lottery received a 2 bedroom unit with just one child ?

I have one child and I got a one-bedroom.

I asked for a two-bedroom but they said there weren't any left. I'm not sure if it was because of my log number, or if they prioritize larger families for larger apartments.

Anyway, good luck!

I am 1 person and I got a 1 bedroom. I think they go by income and then availability. They usually approve apartments in batches of 50. It wouldn't make sense for them to hold an apartment and prioritize larger families UNLESS they are in that batch. I also think that even though you may be in two income brackets and want the the larger apartment, if you income is closer to the lower end they will downgrade you to the smaller apartment.

My good girlfriend was given an one bedroom and she has a 10 year old daughter and my other good girlfriend has a 5 year old son and was given a 2 bedroom apartment for the same building. So i guess it depends on availability and the gender of your child.

It does not depend on the gender of the child, even a couple qualifies for a two bedroom now according to the rules.
Everything depends on log number and availability.
If you qualify for a two bedroom and there's one and two bedrooms available you can request whichever one you want.
However if they reach your long number and only one bedrooms are left that is all they offer you.
Two and three bedrooms go fast especially now that even a married couple qualifies for it.

Please read the marketing handbook.

I have 2 kids ages 13 and 11, currently living in 3 bedroom. But during the application process I was told they look at income, vouchers amount if applied , number of ppl in households.
