Does having a low AMI means your unit will be smaller then those with a higher AMI in your building? (Square footage)

I am actually dealing with this now. I recently received approval and I viewed the studio and its tiny, but I saw all the other studios they use to have available online and they were a good size. It kind of sucks because the square footage does not match how much I should be paying in rent for the studio. When these lotteries are getting towards the end of their available units your AMI could be 80% or 130% and it feels like the unit should be the cost of a lower AMI. But I guess its a good thing for people with a lower AMI then can get a good sized unit as was for a very low cost.

Your right it probably can differ depending on the building/developer! But I'm going to take it because I need it and hopefully be put on a transfer list and transfer to a bigger one once available.
