#2xx for a housing development with over 215 units, im likely going to get contacted but the real issue is the documents.
Im a last year college student that meets the income range of the units I applied for and at the moment I have no credit score since I just started building credit & i cant request a credit report within these 6 months and I'll be filing as independent next year. Is it possible or have any of you heard cases where a guarantor is allowed for a credit check to be used for lottery apts or is that not allowed?

Full time students don't qualify for the NYC housing lottery. Part time students are fine though.
There are now alternative means of certifying creditworthiness, usually involving demonstrating you've been paying your rent. See the most recent HPD marketing handbook for details.
However, if you're full time, your student status may torpedo your chances unless yours is one of the rare developments that doesn't have that restriction.
