I have applied to this lottery and they are working on my file now. The videos are misleading a bit, some are much nicer than others. For the amount of money that they are asking for, I do hope there is a w/d in my unit. I can’t imaging paying that kind of price and still having to downstairs to wash my clothes. I will definitely keep everyone posted on the journey. Also, my log number is 195x.
When it rains it pours and, I fully expected this to happen! Got a pretty lousy draw of 75XX back in October. Only really applied just to see what kind of number I would get, all the while waiting for my number in the Stuytown lottery to be reached. We finally got called for Stuytown, submitted docs, gonna sign the lease today or tomorrow and, low and behold, I got a request to take action and, submit docs to the Arches! I pass this almost daily but, Bird in the hand. I love the look and amenities The Arches offer but, I'm going downtown!
Hours after seeing my status change on Housing Connect and, asked to submit documents, I got a call from one of the Marketing agents asking me about my interest. I had to be honest and, told her if only they had reached out a few weeks earlier, I would have jumped all over this but, my lease to Stuytown is now signed, sealed and delivered! Timing is everything, I saw this project built from scratch and, really like the amenities and they've even sweetened the pot with incentive s like 6 months free amenities and a $1k gift card! But, I wanted to be closer to work and Stuytown puts me spot closer but, I know someone else will enjoy this up and coming area of the Bronx.

You got the bigger apt with being in Stuytown. It would've been like living in a sardine can with the Arches. The sh** is small.
Contacted by The Arches yesterday. Log #98XX. Won't be moving forward since I already chose something, but I am amazed they got my my number so fast since it was almost 10,000. I was considering this place. It looks nice from the exterior, but how nice it really is I have no idea. Heard it's small too.
