Sorry if this was asked previously on this group. I recall that the old lottery website was designed so that each application was specific to a lottery. I am currently in process on the new website for a lottery and submitted my documents but there is another lottery that I’m interested in but with my 130 AMI single household number is lower than the household to income criteria. I was wondering if I could update my household number by adding my parents to apply for this lottery but would this affect my chances in the lottery currently already in process. For background my parents are legal U.S immigrants and work on and off low paying jobs so even if they work the household income wouldn’t significantly increase and fits the criteria of the lottery.

I have 2 accounts on Housing Connect for this purpose. I'd suggest creating a second account with a different email address. Use the second account to ONLY apply for buildings with your parents. It would be simpler having 2 accounts to not have issues when the marketing agents do a "snapshot" of your application. Keep note of which buildings you've applied for by yourself and then with them so you don't accidentally apply to the same building twice and possibly get disqualified.
