As someone who makes more than 65k and lives on a boat...in one of those areas... I can say that it's crazy how much rent has become... the boat is less than 30 ft and I bought it years ago to use on the weekend. Can't believe it's my home now...not complaining...just surprised.

Biggest take away from this article for me “ We are not building enough housing for everybody who needs a place to live “. I had no idea that there was such a lack in building & the impact of 2008

Biggest takeaway for me: Corporations are buying all housing and middle income folks will not be able to own and will be paying massive amounts of their salary to rent. And this is countrywide - used to be you would move to the less desirable states and be fine. That's going away.
