I honestly can see arguments both ways. However, most would-be gentrifiers aren't coming in through the affordable housing lottery. They make too much.
I didn’t hear of this but I see both ways as well. With CB taking up typically 50% of the available units, it def limits how many from outside of the neighborhood get in. I think they should have lowered it to maybe 15% of units instead. Maybe that would’ve made more sense for both sides of said argument.

I found and posted this on the Plank Road thread because I was curious myself--seems like buildings which receive only the 421-a tax break and no city subsidies/financing are not required to offer priority slots to people in the CB. Here's a watchdog site on the Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park project with more info: https://atlanticyardsreport.blogspot...rence.html?m=1

Well she is asking if anyone else has noticed and I'm giving my point of view. I see that 167-171 Chrystie Street, One Bell Slip, 310 Livingston Street and 310 Livingston Street all are higher income and have CB preference.

Recent buildings posted with only 130 AMI and no CB preference or any preferences at all on housing connect

2809 Clarendon Rd
2203 Clarendon Rd
3512 & 3514 Farragut Rd
1245 Bedford Ave
Brooklyn Crossing
196 Willoughby Street
3506 Farragut Rd
14 Duffield Street
810 Fulton Street
1730 Ocean Ave

There are a couple more, but there's a clear pattern. I was just pointing it out seeing if anyone else noticed it. And there are way more only 130 AMI buildings being posted than those that include 40-80 AMI listed. @gg-ev explained why its happening
