The voting is done annually for the period of 10/1 to 9/30.

It's going to be a long night!

These meetings drag on far longer than they should as each side seeks to get theirs in before final vote.

Much of it is tenants and their supporters who turn event into a circus with howling, shouting down various speakers, etc... It all just adds to time because people have right to be heard, so when they cannot speak things must wait until order is restored.

If thing were done in a closed meeting would be over in less than one hour.
