Hello All!

I'm new to the forum, and desperately need some advice.

My log number for The Astra is (491) The application period closed back in April 2021, still haven't heard anything from them, and I have no idea of they've gone through the applications. What's killing me is that I need to move and finding an apartment at this point is so much harder, as there are many others looking for a home as well.

If you have any information, it will be appreciated! Have you or anyone heard back from them as of yet?

Thank you

What AMI are you in? Do you have CB preference? It doesn't look like there are enough apartments unless you're in the 130 AMI, in which case you'd have a shot of a good 20 one bedrooms. But if you're CB preference, you have a great chance with that number.

I have a log number of 3k and heard back in April (5% preference). Maybe they haven't gotten to your log yet. There's another thread on the Astra. Seems like they're reaching out to people to see if they're still interested. Like the previous post said, there's only 130% AMI left.

There are no 130% studios left.

They process applications in order of disability, then community board and nyc employee preference and then general population. Do you have any preferences? It can take months sometimes, even though your log is good
