I submitted my documents for this apartment not too long ago. I asked for an update and was told “ Your documentation is in review. We will let you know if anything else is needed.” What’s that mean? Is that mean I have a chance or this is a general response?
Did they call you or you just got an email told you to submit
Docs?
Under review it means they check all your documents and when all is OK they send it to the city for approval
Under view for how long ??? I gave documents on3/29 still under view. I reach and response when reach your Log but my Log was 2XX. This for a Mini lottery still waiting. I rather be denied then still waiting. Also the market agent is reside. I hope I still have chance. They really need a better System

Wow that’s a very long time to wait after having submitted documents - especially for a mini lottery. My guess is that the apartment is one that many people want- probably large with W/D and in an ideal location.

Mini lotteries are generally for ONE unit. Requesting documents from people with log numbers in the 200s is just wrong. It gives false hope. Literally hundreds of people submitting docs when Log 1-25 will most likely end up with the unit. Shame on these marketing companies.

I won a mini lottery with a log number of 10xxx and the apartment was in a luxury building in a prime location in Manhattan. I turned it down but saying so that people don’t lose hope.

Can you please elaborate - to help give me hope. When you say you 'won', were you actually offered a lease to sign? You made it to the final step? Was this a mini lottery for a single unit? I am log #2x in a mini lottery and submitted docs over a month ago and heard nothing. I know that they requested docs for Log #s in 100s. I'm sill hopeful but it's fading away.

yes, I was offered two leases at the same time - one was for 57 Via West and the other for the building across the street "The Max" My log number for 57 Via West was in the 10xxx and the Max was around 1xx. Both buildings contacted me right away after submitting documents. My file was approved by HPD. In both cases, I was asked to tour the building and was asked to sign a lease. I eventually turned them both down because the one at 57 was a studio, (I already live in a studio in Manhattan), and the one at the Max had no W/D and it was dark. I don't like dark apartments with no view.
