I'm new to the lottery process but I've been following this forum for the past couple of days so I have a good grasp on the basics. I'm confused about one thing though.

In a drawing for 100+ units, if there are only 20 units of a 80 AMI and a 50% cb pref, would all the units in that AMI go to all the cb residents that qualify or half of that (10 units)? Just wondering if it is half of the units available per AMI, or all the units overall.

From what I heard for example, if all the ppl who have CB want and qualify for a 1 bedroom they will all get a 1 bedroom. It all just depends on what the ppl who have CB quality for. The CB preference (50%) is not 50% of every bedroom unit. It’s 50% of all the units available. Hopefully that helps

If there are 20apts/80AMI, 50% CB, 5% City worker and 5% disability

*10 of those apts is set aside for CB

*1 of the apts is set aside each for the other preferences

* 8 are then left for the open public
