my log # is 12,### and i applied in 2021 and just heard back in 2023... i feel like this is crazy but really not trying to get the hopes up. i have submitted all docs and the specialist said that "your file has been submitted to our 3rd party for review and if we need anything additional or any clarifications I will reach out to you." is that a good sign so far?
Yes, this is a good sign. You have community board preference, correct? If you could share what size apt and AMI you are looking at, that would also help others who are hoping to get into this development.

Oh, this is good news. I don't have CB preference actually which is why I'm shocked about this. I think they have me down for looking for a 1 br but I'm hoping to snag a 2 br. The AMI that my spouse and I fall into is 165 which is pretty up there in cost but I still hope we could get in - if we could.

Are you referring to Gotham Point South? Gotham Point North only opened its lottery in 2022 and they haven't yet started on non-CB applicants. There's a separate thread for Gotham Point South applicants.

Wow.. i'm totally on the wrong thread here. Apologies! Just sent a note on the South tower thread but thanks for letting me know. Still hope my chances are alive - even without CB but anyways, thanks!

Just went to the appointment to hand in paperwork for log 24xxx CB. They said they only had 165% available atm for 1/2 bedroom.
"atm"? Do they think they'll get more of the different ami's in the future?
Lots of people saying that there's only the top ami available for 1 and 2br. Seems strange to me that we're still only on cb pref and yet there might be nothing cheaper available after they reach their quota...

They did mention waitlist for 50%(can't remember exact ami), so I'm assuming all other ami has been filled for CB. I'm wondering if they allocate 50% of the lower AMI to CB or just 50% of CB get to choose whichever allocation leaving only higher AMI for general population.
