How do you calculate your income if you accept a higher or lower paying job? Would you calculate your income-to-date at the original salary, then add to that the projection of your new salary for the rest of the year? Or do you report the new salary?

If you ask, how to calculate the income for the purposes of indicating on your HC profile then I say use whatever makes it more income. Assuming higher income household has more opportunities.
If you ask how the agency calculates your income, then the "Marketing handbook, section 5: detailed selection policies: 5-4: Income Eligibility" would explain that. They basically have to predict your income for the foreseeable future. They would use your latest W2, then they use "third party verification" (asking your employer if the raise is anticipated) and use the larger number. Having said that, I myself calculating my own income never managed to come to the same number that the marketing agency calculated.

I had the same issue, I worked with an agency at the same place for 9 months and then got hired permanently w/ different pay for the next 3 months so the W-2's were kind of messy...but I just put my salary for the new job to avoid a headache. By the time I get contacted, I'll have been there for a year.
