Does anyone know what would happen if an applicant loses his/her job after applying for an apt but the other member of their household/spouse is still employed?

Is the salary of the person that's still employed considered even if it drops the household income from 130 AMI to 60 AMI? (assuming there are apts in that bracket available).

OR.... Is the entire application deemed ineligible since the primary applicant is no longer employed?

Depends if a lease was signed. If so, the tenants are still responsible for rent regardless of income. If a lease wasn’t signed, household income has to fall within the allowed range to qualify. If not, the application will be rejected. If there are 60 ami units you can still qualify but do know that those apartments are very competitive as demand for very low rents are in high demand
