got a request for docs but won't be submitting, there's no universe in which this is worth it. you know the lottery apts are going to be the ones looking out on the underside of the BQE

Got a request for docs today. Log #47xx. Eligible for the 1BDs and the studio.

Like everyone else, I doubt the value of this, and I'm pessimistic about not facing the BQE — but I'm currently overpaying for a non-stabilized studio, so I'm considering submitting docs just to marginally improve my situation.

That 1 BR at 130 AMI is more than the old 200 AMI plus increases. At that starting point, even RS isn't a particularly compelling selling point.

I got a request for documents today, which is surprising since I only qualify for a 2 bed and there's only 1 available. So i'm assuming they're just reaching out to alot of people ?

Assuming your submission deadline hasn't passed, you can contact them (you should've gotten an email from iAfford with contact info, including a phone number) and they should tell you something about the remaining units. It's possible that they contacted you to try to convince you to go for a 1BD because there are no 2BDs left, even if there were none left by the time they asked for your docs (are you 100% sure that your household & income don't match any of the other sizes?).

I declined moving forward with a 1BD, but yeah, I'm curious if any of their 2-3BD units are still available.
