This is my first time being asked to submit documents. I selected the "submit documents in person" option in order to get a quicker interview. Is this bad? Should I have submitted them online instead? Let me know if you have any advice.

I don’t know - I once submitted documents in person and the office claimed that they got lost. I submitted in person because the other option was to submit them to a gmail address which to me is unacceptable as google doesn’t encrypt nor does it care to. I feel that all documents should be submitted through the housing connect site as it is not only secure but reliable if they should question if you submitted a particular file.

Is not really an interview I guess. You're Judy giving documents. It doesn't make you get an apartment or anything after. There's a second round of docs you have to submit when they have a potential apartment for you.
I also heard of people stuff getting lost when doing things in person. I personally think uploading it is. Either way if there's an issue or they lost something they should contact you.

There's no actual "interview" they still use that terminology from pre covid from when we'd have to go in in person and sometimes they'd ask you a few questions regarding the documents you had... now its just the process of submitting documentation. And I don't *think* submitting them in person gets you contacted any faster than you would submitting them via Housing Connect.
