I took a break from this forum and housingconnect, only to be contacted a week later for a lottery lol. I got excited again, waitlisted. Now back to square one trying to disconnect again. Yet I’m on here now for my mental health I must step back and focus on something else in the meantime because it literally consumes you.

Taking a break from this forum would probably be good for me too. It’s easy to obsess over the process when you can watch apartments filled by everybody but you in real time in the threads. I was much happier to let whatever will be, be when I was actually more in the dark and just applying at random with no discussion.
I have too much fomo to quit HC.
