Monthly maintenance is $986.

$986 is much more reasonable. How did you get this number? Did they call and speak to you? Was it in an email?

They sent a separate email, in addition to the request for documents through housing connect. The apartments are 4th and 5th floor walk up. Around 500sq ft - railroad style. But you need $22k in assets since February (consistently for at least three months) and it cannot be a gift. I am kind of irritated because if I had known that I would have tried to make that work. So now I am disqualified.
