It said they accepted applications till 2/15/2023 so it's recent. I wonder why they didn't put it on the HC website for these lower AMIs
Only glanced at link when found, but IIRC it was notice for those wishing to go onto some sort of waitlist for units that become vacant.
Tate opened up in 2001 I believe, thus original lottery was a few years ago now.
Strange thing is that the "re-rental" waitlist units are part of low income housing bond scheme, but the other lottery units linked above at 130% are 421-a.
The Summit initial lottery back in 2018: https://a806-housingconnect.nyc.gov/...entPdf/485.pdf - stated the building was constructed through the Inclusionary Housing Program and is anticipated to receive a Tax Exemption through the 421-a Tax Incentive Program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program of New York State Homes and Community Renewal.
In this initial lottery, it had three different AMIs: 40%, 60%, & 130% AMIs. The units offered in this 2018 lottery have different finishes & appliances (cheaper design & brands) than market rate units though they were spread out throughout the floors.
Then in 2020, Summit had Phase II lottery: https://housingconnect.nyc.gov/PublicWeb/details/1806 & in this one said: This building was constructed through the Inclusionary Housing Program and is anticipated to receive a Tax Exemption through the 421-a Tax Incentive Program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
So the Phase II apparently didn't use LIHTC program & it only offered for 120% AMI & I won a unit from this one. The 16 units assigned in Phase II lottery have exactly the same finishes & appliances (same design, brands, layouts, etc) with the market rate units throughout the floors.
I wonder whether Tate Apartments have the same arrangement like what Summit has in terms of units assignment
