How long did HPD review take for you? (Ava, Hope: move, housing)

My file was sent to HPD weeks ago and haven't heard a peep.
I called the hotline today, and they said the project manager who's reviewing my file had been on vaca last week and was currently in a meeting. Said he would be calling me back today to provide an update. Still waiting...
What was the timeline from getting the request to submit documents to approval?
Roughly two months. I was rejected at first, and it said I hadn't responded to a request to submit additional docs. I appealed, because I never got such a request, and my application was put back in process. Then I was told that there was only one person ahead of me and that they were proceeding with the final step. A week later I was told that the person had backed out. They asked for a few more documents from me and finally submitted my file to HPD. A week later I got approved. It was a rollercoaster, and I'm so glad it's over.
My agent told me he was submitting my document last week Wednesday. Should I contact him to get an update or should I not bother and just be patient. It just so nerve-racking sitting and waiting hoping to be approved.
