Higher Income Buyers ( $127,000 Annual) have an opportunity at Horizon Coops. Deadline 8/28/23
I saw these before the pandemic and 7 of the 2 bedrooms have been reduced from $515,000 to $415,000.
For those of us who are only interested in buying, remember that the monthly cost on Housing Connect includes mortgage and maintenance, even though the site says only maintenance. ( I got fooled before and didn't apply).
There are no Preferences ( not sure if the CB Pref Lawsuit was settled).
The other Coops have been wlak up apartments with reterning rental tenants. This one has 2 elevators and a roof lounge.
There were a lot of people infront of the building this morning.
Most of the comments were about finally having an elevator/new construction home ownership lottery.
Many of them are in lottery rentals paying as munch as $3,200, since those are the rents at the 165%AMI level.
I'm glad I walked by because I will now submit my housing connect application.

Excellent. I recall there were 9 or so units listed in the notice. And you are 5xx. This illustrates something. This is lottery to PURCHASE a unit not to lease one. Purchase lotteries can have a high attrition rate because to qualify for it there are more things involved. The process is more complex with more paperwork. People might not be financially or emotionally prepared to make the leap to purchase. Hang in there.
I searched the building and address/church but will try the developer/sponsees/finance next! Thank you!
