I was recently reached out in august to view a unit and hand in documentation. Then was call last week to fill out paperwork for a Section 8 Project Based Vouchers that come with the unit. Has anyone log number been reached and u was told the unit come with PBV rental subsidy. If so how long was the process to getting approved after your paperwork was submitted.

Interesting. Does that mean Section 8 program entry isn't frozen?

Hello,
I’m in a similar situation I have an appointment to view and apartment and fill out paper work for section 8 as well and was wondering how long the process is. If you find out any information can you please let me know.

Yes I definitely will, same here

I spoke to my agent she said it could take around 6 weeks … she said “ 6 weeks is an estimate. If HPD has questions it may be a little longer. However we’re giving them all the documents you provided. If they need anything further they’ll reach out to us. Once they’re done with the review they forward the application to the Division of Tenant Resources. Once DTR has the application they’ll reach out to you directly.’’ -management

I contacted hpd/hdc to make sure they received my application and they did it’s been a week and a half so hopefully soon I will hear something. My anxiety is on another level I try not to think about it but I so hard lol , what development are you waiting for? How long has it been since they sent off your application to hpd/hdc

Mine also went to Review compete. I viewed the unit and signed some paperwork with a agent, she told me it could take 4-6 weeks to hear back about section 8 so I have to contact her the beginning on November if I don’t hear anything,

I’m anxious as well. The unit is actually for my senior father but I’m helping him as he doesn’t understand any of this. It’s for Parkchester gardens. What development are you waiting for? he viewed the unit and signed paperwork September 29th and she said it could take 4-6 weeks from that day. The initial request for documents was in June so it’s been so hard waiting
