If it helps: 5 years ago I had a $300 discount off market rate. Today it's $1,100 plus I must be given a renewal unless I'm a bad tenant. Therein lies the value...if you are considering staying a while.

Because it's a government process that involves money, there are a lot of rules and regulations. Often, topics that you think you understand, such as salary, have a whole different definition in Lotteryland. Or several definitions! It's kind of like an alternate universe of sorts. But people here are very supportive and helpful, with the occasional exception.
