Rent or Credit Consent? (payments, parents, eligible)

Hey guys,

My parents just called to submit documents and they're struggling to understand:

"Applicants have the choice of either proving 12 months rent payments or consenting to a credit review. If found eligible, you will be asked which option you would like to process with."

Does this mean - send all the other docs and t'll those are process, and they'll come to your for this option?

And if you have credit review only, how do you submit that?
