When you see a property that is being rented ( on the market for MONTHS), you contact broker, view apartment, apply and broker gets back to you and asks your move in date then you see the listing goes to "permanently off market - manual" on the broker's website (and doesnt show as an active listing on other sites) the day after the broker asks you that. what does that mean? the suspense is giving me anxiety? Does it sound like you may get the place? Especially if you indicated to the broker you will be there for years to come if you get the place.

This sounds like a market rate apartment, not lottery, I don't think you're on the right forum.

In any case, I think you'd have to contact the broker to ask what the status of your application is. How would any of us know what their notation on the listing means?

It means no longer for sale if you are buying a home, or if you are renting it means no longer for rent .
