Have you met anyone who started working around the age of 25? (fit in, lawyers)

I am 24. I never had a job because I am a full time student. I hope that I will get a job before my 25th birthday. Is it weird to start working at 25? Would my friends laugh at me?
2. Don't your friends know you're not working NOW?
3. Yes, many people start working at 25, even 30. They're called doctors and lawyers.
4. Seriously, get over the weird fear that you're too old to get your first job and go find one! Even an unpaid internship would give you some marketable skills if your folks are still footing your bills.
5. What is the alternative to not getting a job around age 25 for you- opting out of the workforce entirely?
Are you serious? Worrying about what your friends think? If you want a job, go get one. Problem solved. And yes, I know plenty of people who did not work full time until they completed their education. Now they are doctors and lawyers, and no one's laughing at them.
That's perfectly normal. Most people who go straight to graduate school after college usually do not join the workforce until they're about to turn 25 or later.
I was a full-time student too. Now that I think about it, I got my first job when I was 23. If anyone had any particular opinion about that, they never said so to me. And if they had, I'm sure my response wouldn't have fit in the category of "polite."
I've got this possibly weird notion: you shouldn't live your life according to what you imagine someone else will think or say.
Nothing wrong with that. Being 46 now, 25 seems like a baby! I think I had my first "real" job at around 22 and it was part-time (before that I did babysitting). Don't worry about what your friends say. If they laugh at you then they are not true friends. Good luck!
