For good or bad, there is a heavy influence in the bensonhurst / gravsend area.
8th ave from 60-low 50's is majority Asian.

PART II:

The Asian neighborhoods seem OVERWHELMINGLY Chinese.

Just as a restaurant rule...see many non-chinese ones? Indonesian? Cambodian? Vietnamese? Etc.?

To experience cleaner and less crowded Asian neighborhood than Canal St., I stroll down 8th Avenue.

Tigerbeer? There is a significant Asian population in the area between Avenue U and Sheepshead Bay in the East teens. I think it is mostly Chinese.

There are alot of Asians in the NJ Gold Coast , a few areas have the highest amount of Koreans outside Korea. There are also alot of Thai , Indian , and Chinese around Urban Jersey and the suburbs.
