Hey, sorry guys I made a post earlier about going to Financial district, but I'm actually found a good deal on a hotel near madison square gardens. I will be staying at 36th/8th ave and wondering which bus would be best to take to get there. Would it be easier to take a cab to the nearest subway and then take the subway? I will have only one carryon bag, so luggage wont be a big deal
Or, alternatively, Q33 to Roosevelt Avenue, take the E to Penn Station. A lot less time on the bus that way.
Also the Roosevelt Avenue subway station has elevators that connect street level entrance to the train platform level (so one doesn't have to carry heavier bags up & down stairs).

125th street has elevators too

actually it kinda evens out because the A train is only 3 stops to 34th street
Yeah, but that bus ride from LGA to 125th St. takes FOREVER. It does end up being, total, about the same amount of time, but I'd rather sit on the subway than on the bus.
Sorry to hijack this thread. What will be the best way to get from LGA to Hamilton Heights (around City College of NY)? Thanks
