I am seeking a teaching position in NYC. I would like to move this summer and was wondering which was a better choice, BK or BX? I would like to keep rent reasonable....I'd be fine with a studio until I figured out where I wanted to be......any ideas? Any fellow teachers who can give me ideas for locating a position?

Any help that you can provide would be appreciated!

You have to be kidding. No teachers have been hired for 2 years and they are now debating whether to fire 5,000 teachers or maybe up to 21,000 teachers.//www.city-data.com/forum/new-y...r-layoffs.html

I definitely wouldn't move to NYC expecting to get a teaching job any time soon.Better have a plan B.
