Does anyone know of movies or internet sites that have video or moving pictures of the real New York of the 60's and early 70's. I'm looking for scenes of the outer boros not Manhattan. I'd like to see what they looked like back then. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a video montage from South Bronx in the 70s (and early 80s). This is the same old scenes of a destroyed area though.

Click on Montage. Welcome2Melrose: The Rubble of the 70's and 80's

Some of the footage is taken from the flick 80 Blocks From Tiffany's (1979).

As the man said in the Coney Island video: "Finally the whole place just fell apart".

Just as good a team as the early/mid 1970s Knicks. Some people even argue that they were better.

Thanks! This video brought back memories. Does anyone have any other videos. I'd like to see pics or videos of Flatbush and Church back in the 70's.
