That would be a long commute if you still need to work in the city. The commute would kill you faster than the hustle-and-bustle of the big city ever would. There are a lot of great country getaways you could take on the weekends to unwind (you could do them in day trips and you don't even need a car to do them). In the meantime if you have decided the big city isn't for you, you can spend the time to do things necessary to relocate.
Have you visited Queens lately? There are lots of quiet, safe and beautiful residential areas there just an hour and a half from Manhattan.
I was just going to say that. Somehow, when I'm in the other boroughs I feel a little more relaxed. Then I come back to Manhattan and I'm stressin' again.
