I’ve been selected for an apartment at Marlboro houses (it’s been a month now) does anyone here know how long it takes for them to call to view the apartment?

Sistershami, you're better off asking this question in the Housing Lottery section.

Murder wise the project seems to be climbing up in that department but like others have said it’s a cool area. Much better than Coney Island itself

I almost got jumped there to back in 2018-2019.

Is Marlboro Brooklyn Neighborhood Good?
Comparing one N.Y.C.H.A. building to another ?
Mind boggling.

Folks.....Any area in close proximity to housing is a crap shoot
in terms of safety while our city is under the care of Democrats.

Pay more or travel farther............

Nuff said.

For a project it’s sheer size it’s not as bad as other jects much smaller than it. Here’s a link. I prefer there than anyones in ENY or Brownsville. https://youtu.be/USP0aZVEu60

A long time when the surrounding area was heavily Italian-American the Marboro project residents stayed in the Marboro projects except when coming/going to the 'B' train at the Bay 50 Street station. I mean you rarely even saw them at Spumoni Gardens. During the 1977 Blackout 'guys' from Bath Beach stood guard up and down Stillwell Avenue that night.
