I’ve been selected for an apartment at Marlboro houses (it’s been a month now) does anyone here know how long it takes for them to call to view the apartment?
Do you mean the Marlboro Houses on 86th St. I know someone that got jumped in there (although I usually assume the worst with projects). However the surrounding area is solid/nice, I live in walking distance, the Ave U retail strip is pretty good
I almost got jumped there to back in 2018-2019.

Thanks guys for responding. ehh so I guess its not THAT bad of a neighborhood :T I guess I have to bare with it ;T
Lol. Oh no homeboy, it's bad. They just talking it down on here because it ain't as bad as most housing projects. I drive by there a lot at night and would NEVER get out of my car.
For a project it’s sheer size it’s not as bad as other jects much smaller than it. Here’s a link. I prefer there than anyones in ENY or Brownsville. https://youtu.be/USP0aZVEu60
A long time when the surrounding area was heavily Italian-American the Marboro project residents stayed in the Marboro projects except when coming/going to the 'B' train at the Bay 50 Street station. I mean you rarely even saw them at Spumoni Gardens. During the 1977 Blackout 'guys' from Bath Beach stood guard up and down Stillwell Avenue that night.
