Does anyone attened a CUNY school and can tell me your thoughts on it? More specifically can someone tell me if aside from what one recieves is anything different from regular acceptance into CUNY and the Macaulay Honors college? Also if you got accepted into the Macualay program what were your stats, and what did you do during your HS years to get in (i.e volunteer, community service, etc.) I think I have a really good chance of getting in as far as GPA and by my graduation I expect to have close to maybe 30(+) volunteer hours. As of now ( freshmen and sophomore year) I have a 4.0 UW GPA. I am taking the PSAT in October and the SAT sometime between february and march. I expect to get at least a 1500 on my SAT ( I am a good test taker, but I think at the most I'd be close to 1800. I've taken little practices and stuff)

For the Macaulay program is tuition the only thing that's covered, or does it include the cost of housing as well?

Thank you for your answers, any help is appreciated. And I know I'm posting a lot. It's just I want to know and my mom can't really help me, she only went part-time so she was paying per credit and she had me at the time so she didn't have a "college experience"

I went to Kingsborough for 3 years. It was a great school with good professors.

You've tried the CUNY website and your guidance counselor?

I know the CUNY website says what the honors program is but I'd like to hear from people that are in the program.
