Please tell me your experience??

Yes still looking at different options for day trips. Just watched their really stupid video online.

I have applied for Hertz on demand as all their cars come with GPS which an Aussie in NYC really needs!!

You don't need a car. You can get to pretty much anywhere on public transportation with the occasional taxi, and New York traffic is crazy and not for people who aren't used to the city.

No I know that I have been living here for 10 months. Its to get out of the city Want to take the kids to 6 Flags etc

Oh! I thought you meant you were coming on vacation from Australia, my bad!

I took transit to Six Flags once, take the PATH to Newark and there is a bus that goes down there.

with 2 kids one a 3 year old its way too hard. I just got my NYS license so dying to get out there and drive (on the other side of the road LOL ).

You can buy a GPS and use it in any rental car.

yes I know or I could use my iphone also which is what I did back home. Just wont use it much as I dont plan on driving a lot. I should have brought my tom-tom over from Home.
