Booth Street is located in Rego Park and Forest Hills. It is a street that is two blocks south of Queens Blvd and runs between 68th Drive and Woodhaven Blvd.
If you're at the part located in Forest Hills then the closest Subway stop would be the 67th Avenue stop.
In terms of getting to the 47th-50th street rockerfeller center area, there are two things you can do.
1 - Take the local R train to Roosevelt Avenue and transfer to the F
2 - Take the M, which runs weekdays only all the way in.
The first way probably will take 30-40 minutes, if you account for possible wait times at the transfer point.
The second way probably a little longer since from 67th Avenue it is 17 stops to 47th-50th street.
You shouldn't have any problems going to Manhattan at that time of night and no problems walking.
The street also is north of Austin Street, which is the other major street in the area.

So, what do you do on weekends?
Also, you said that it only goes all the way in, so how do you get back?
I am not sure if I am understanding you correctly...sorry...

Thanks for any input you can give me!
On the weekends, only the first option is available: Take the (R) train to Roosevelt Avenue for the (F) train.
Going back, you do the reverse:
* If the (F) comes first, take it to Roosevelt Avenue and transfer to the (M) or (R) to 67th Avenue.
* If the (M) comes first, take it directly to 67th Avenue (Again, it doesn't run weekends).
Since you're by 67th Avenue, you can also backtrack. Take the (M) or (R) to 71st Avenue, and then go to the other platform and take the (F) to Rockerfeller Center. You can do the reverse going back if you catch the (F).
The (R) also stops by Rockerfeller Center if you don't want to transfer. Take it to 49th Street/7th Avenue and walk 1 block east. Do the reverse going back.
If you live on the Eastern end of Booth Street, walk to Queens Boulevard and catch the train at 71st Ave, You can get the F, M, or R. The walk might be 3 minutes longer but if you get the F train it FLIES into Manhattan in less than 1/2 hour.
I think it is worth doing, especially on weekends.
If, on the other hand the you live on the Western end then maybe the 63rd Drive Station is best...but it's another local stop (no F train) just like 67th Avenue.
It all depends on where on Booth you live.
It's a safe neighborhood.

That is a very safe area. The local precient has one of the lowest crime rates in the whole city.
