We took the family to Radio City Music Hall last week. I have been going to the show since I was probably 7 or 8 years old. It is always an amazing show to see. Now, with the 3-D it really was a changed up show. I have to admit for awhile there you couldn't notice the changes year to year. This added a bit of magic. I think even more 3-D would enhance the interest of all attending.
I loved the bus routine with the girls doing their act on the double-decker.
The kids turned to me when the soldiers were falling down to tell me....
" they are not nutcrackers!" My mistake......Nothing like four little faces turning to tell me so. LOL
Wondering how many of you go to the show? Either out of staters or in city folks.
I've taken breaks along the years, but then the show seems to call me back and we have to attend again.
How about you?

Do the ROCKETTES look better in 3D? Like they are really THERE?

My husband and I went two years ago when it was also 3D. Nice show, but lots of crying kids as expected. One disappointing thing was that in one of the scenes, the boy got tangled in the ropes that are used to fly him around the stage. He was caught and just hanging there, it seemed by the neck. Everyone gasped and they quickly shut the curtains and had a 30 minute intermission... Kind of threw off the rhythm of the show a bit!

Yeah,
I imagine hanging a kid onstage would damppen the celebration a bit.
