What made you decide on Harlem? There are tons of other neighborhoods that offer better Transit and Amenities in a much more comfortable setting, for someone new to NYC.

The worst mistake you can make is to move to a neighborhood in NYC without going there at different times of the day. Summertime is approaching, and it will most def be a different neighborhood by then.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. There are many, many blocks in Harlem where you could be fooled into thinking you were in the UES or UWS if you where taken there blindfolded. If you don't believe me, then either go see for yourself.
